Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 30, 2026
Fastitude is an intermittent fasting tracker for iOS, developed by Silent Cairn.
This policy explains what the app does with your information — and, mostly,
what it doesn’t.
In short: Fastitude has no accounts and no servers of its own.
Your fasts, your schedule and your settings stay on your device. There is no
analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDK, and we never sell or share
your data.
What stays on your device
- Your fasts — start and end times, and the plan you chose. Stored in the app’s local database (SwiftData).
- Your settings — plan, schedule, weekdays, display mode, appearance and reminders. Stored in the device’s local preferences.
- A custom background photo, if you choose one — kept in the app’s local storage only.
- Reminders — scheduled locally by iOS. There are no push notifications and no server involved.
- Widgets and Live Activities — your current fast is shared with the app’s own widget extension through a private Apple App Group that no other app can read.
None of this is sent to us. Deleting the app removes all of it from your device.
What can leave your device
- Feedback you choose to send. If you send written feedback from within the app, the text you type is stored in our Apple CloudKit container so that we can read it. Only what you write is sent: no name, account or device identifier is attached.
- This website. It is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request data such as your IP address in order to serve and protect the site. The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics; your light or dark preference is remembered in your own browser.
What Fastitude never does
- No account and no sign-in.
- No analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no third-party SDKs.
- No access to your location, contacts, camera or microphone.
- No HealthKit: nothing is read from or written to the Health app.
Deleting your data
- Clear your history at any time from Settings → Delete fasting history. Your current fast is not affected.
- Deleting the app removes everything Fastitude stored on your device.
- For feedback you sent us, write to [email protected] and we will delete it.
Children
Fastitude is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect
information from them.
Changes to this policy
If what the app does with your information changes, this page is updated first
and the date above changes with it.
