Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 4, 2026

Zpell is a spelling game for iPhone for learning English, made by Nicolas Matos at Silent Cairn. This policy explains what the game does with your information — and, mostly, what it doesn’t.

In short: Zpell collects no data. It has no accounts, no servers, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. The few things it remembers stay on your iPhone, and we never see them.

What stays on your device

These are stored in the app’s local preferences. None of this is sent to us, and deleting the app removes all of it.

The voice

The words are spoken by the voice built into iOS, on your device. Zpell does not use the microphone and never records any audio.

What can leave your device

Zpell itself makes no network requests and works with no connection at all. The only network involved is this website, which is hosted on Cloudflare: it processes standard request data such as your IP address in order to serve and protect the site. The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics.

What Zpell never does

Children

Zpell is a good fit for anyone learning English, children included. Because it collects no information from anyone, it collects none from children either.

Changes to this policy

If what the game does with your information changes, this page is updated first and the date above changes with it.
